Full-time, Part-time or Casual Staff
We are currently looking for professional, experienced and highly trained Registered Practical Nurses for various areas of hospitals, LTC and Home care in the GTA and surrounding area.
Qualifications:
- Active registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- Proof of membership with RPNAO
- RPN Diploma
- Valid First Aid & CPR
- Certificate in Phlebotomy is considered an asset.
- Able to work with persons with infectious Diseases.
- Minimum of 6 months acute care experience.
- BCLS/ACLS Certificate
- Current N95 Mask Fit Test Certificate.
- Proof of Immunizations for MMR & Varicella.
- Proof of a negative TB skint test done within one (1) Year.
- Current Vulnerable Sector Police Check
Requirements:
- Ability to work well as a team player, and independently.
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
- Scheduling Requirements:
- Must be available for “urgent or last minute” shifts, scheduled within 2 hours of shift start time.
- Must be able to work the flexible shift times, depending on the facility; eight (8) or twelve (12) hours in length.
- Must be able to ‘float’ from unit to unit within a hospital, depending on facility need.
- Must be available to work all shifts – days, evenings & nights – including weekdays, weekends & statutory holidays.
- Required to work at least (1) weekend per month
- Must be reliable and punctual (once availability is given) full commitment is expected.
- JMR Infinity Med Care expect full compliance and commitment with shifts once it’s assigned.
- Acceptances/cancellation policy (provided for review upon hiring).
Responsibilities May include, but are not limited to:
- Provide direct patient care.
- Follow the policies and procedures set out by the facility/organization.
- Well-developed interpersonal skills & excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
